Round Rock named 10th fastest-growing city in U.S.

We already knew Round Rock was a great place for economic prosperity, and it seems others are getting the hint, too.

Round Rock has the 10th fastest-growing local economy in the nation, according to a recent report by WalletHub. 

The company studied 515 cities of varying population sizes based on 17 key economic measures over the last seven years, including population growth, the unemployment rate and regional GDP per capita. The only other Texas city to land in the top 10 was Frisco.

As the site of Dell world headquarters, Round Rock is often recognized as a driving force for economic development in Central Texas. We are home to global companies and thousands of innovative small businesses, and set ourselves apart from the rest with a great quality of life. 

The City leverages growth for the betterment of our community through long-term strategic planning efforts, such as the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Transportation Master Plan and Parks and Trails Master Plans.
