New Latin-Caribbean restaurant will go in place of closed Mambo House in Round Rock

Fuego Latino Gastropub will soon open in the place of the now closed Mambo House at 206 N. Mays St., Round Rock. Executive chef and owner Jorge Alcocer said he plans to open the restaurant Aug. 22, after he finishes some renovations to the space. The restaurant will feature dishes from Latin America with flavors from the Caribbean. Alcocer said the menu would include meals with empanadas, beef and chimichurri, flavors and dishes for which Argentina is famous.
