Section of main road in Old Settlers Park closed for repairs

A pavement failure that occurred on Sunday, Jan. 10, on Harrell Parkway has closed a portion of that road, which runs through Old Settlers Park from U.S. 79 to Old Settlers Boulevard.

The failure occurred at a culvert between the sand volleyball courts and Aten Loop. Visitors can still access all areas of the park.

Engineers are still assessing the cause of the failure, so there is no timeline for a repair and reopening.
