Ride the bus for free in Round Rock this October

Capital Metro is offering free fares on Round Rock bus services for all customers from Oct. 1 – 31. The fare suspension is being put in place to thank customers as the agency works to mitigate the service impacts resulting from staff shortages and to encourage more ridership.

“Capital Metro recognizes the challenges the agency’s current level of service has brought to the community, and implementing free fares for a period of time is a small way to ease those challenges,” according to a release on Capital Metro’s website.

Round Rock is also applying the free fares for the month of October to its paratransit program.
