Pflugerville ISD makes technology investments
Students at Pflugerville ISD will have access to faster internet and new devices in the coming months following district-wide technology updates. Executive Director of Technology Victor Valdez, said at an Oct. 15 board of trustees meeting that officials are installing 2,100 wireless access points throughout the district, or one per classroom. He said the district is about 80 percent of the way through installing the new wireless access points. “Other districts are jealous of our [wireless initiative],” he said. “We’re hearing feedback from [students and teachers] that their connections are quicker.”
