Officers respond to road rage incident
Round Rock Officers responded to a report of road rage on Southbound IH-35 shortly before 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24. The driver reportedly ran into other vehicles intentionally before wrecking out in the ditch between the highway and the frontage road near US-79. The driver, a 37-year-old white male, barricaded himself and the SWAT team was called out. Around 11:20 p.m., the driver was detained and arrested for two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of assault on a public servant.
