Library announces Business Plan Competition
Do you have an entrepreneurial dream? The Round Rock Public Library is delighted to announce a Business Plan Competition for Round Rock-based startup entrepreneurs. The final six individuals or teams will present their business plans to a panel of judges, and prize money will be awarded to the top two entrants.
The Round Rock Public Library and Austin SCORE will be offering a series of free Zoom workshops for entrepreneurs and small business owners on Fridays in February, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. SCORE is a nonprofit dedicated to helping small businesses and entrepreneurs start, develop and maintain their businesses.
Our next round of Biz.ability Zoom workshops, which will be held Fridays in February, is geared towards entrepreneurs who are ready to develop a business plan. If you attend one or more of these workshops, you will be on your way to creating a business plan which you can submit to the Round Rock Public Library’s Biz.ability Business Plan Competition. The winner will receive $7,500 cash and a Dell computer.
The goal of this competition is for entrants to gain practical insights about starting and growing a business using the array of small business resources available at Round Rock Public Library.
The Library is grateful to our generous sponsors: Dell Technologies, The Round Rock Chamber, Public Library Association, HEB, and the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library.
