Leander initiates annexations along Ronald Reagan, San Gabriel

Leander has started the annexation process for the last available sections of land that can be annexed into the city along Ronald Reagan Boulevard. Leander City Council passed a resolution Dec. 1 that commenced the annexation of two areas of land that total about 1,130 acres. One section falls along CR 175 and CR 177, and another sits just north of the Palmera Ridge subdivision. The annexations would be involuntary, meaning the property owners did not request annexation.
