City to host comprehensive plan open houses in March

Published on February 24, 2020 under RRnews

The City of Round Rock is currently finalizing its new Comprehensive Plan, Round Rock 2030. Public input has been gathered over the past two years through surveys, in-person meetings and online polls to develop this long-range document, which will serve as the policy guide and framework for land use decisions over the next decade. Drafts of the document are available at roundrocktexas.gov/roundrock2030, or at the Round Rock Public Library, 216 E. Main St.

Final adoption of the plan is expected to take place this spring.

The public will be able to review the plan’s content, interact with staff and give feedback at the following open houses:

Saturday, March 7
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Allen R. Baca Center Dining Room
301 W. Bagdad Ave. Bldg. 2

Tuesday, March 10
6 – 8 p.m.
Rabb House
151 N. A.W. Grimes Blvd.

The Open Houses are not formal presentations. Rather, the community is invited to arrive, review plan content, interact with staff, and give their input at any time during the event.

Can’t make it to the open houses?

The City will be holding Round Rock 2030 office hours from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 18, and 9 a.m. to noon Monday, March 23, at the Planning and Development Services Office, 301 W. Bagdad Ave., Suite 210.
