City of Round Rock to host Memorial Day Ceremony

The Round Rock Veteran’s Coalition and City of Round Rock invite the entire community to honor and remember fallen service members at a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 31.

The Memorial Day Ceremony will take place starting at 10 a.m. at Yonders Point Plaza, which is located at 3101 Aten Loop on the north side of Old Settlers Park.

The ceremony will include Major General Retired Patrick Hamilton of the U.S. Army as the guest speaker, with other portions of the ceremony provided by:

• Round Rock Police Department Honor Guard
• Fire Department’s Pipe and Drums
• Stony Point High School’s JROTC — Presentation of colors, taps, live 21 gun salute
• Michaela Watson — Singing of National Anthem

Light refreshments will be made available immediately following the ceremony.
