Williamson County hires treasurer and 3 other things residents need to know

Williamson County announced the hire of D. Scott Heselmeyer as the next county treasurer early Thursday morning. Heselmeyer will fill the position until the next general election in November 2018. He will replace Jerri Jones, the current county treasurer who recently accepted the appointment to become the county auditor and begins her new role March 1.
