WilCo early voters out in droves, election official says
As of Oct. 27, the fourth day of early voting, Williamson County had 72,852 people turn out to cast their ballots early. According to Chris Davis, elections administrator for the county, that number is a large increase from previous elections. On day four of early voting in 2008, 35,762 people had voted, and in 2012 that number was 39,062, Davis said. Davis credits the high numbers to not only Williamson County’s growth, but also excitement and preparedness around the election.
