Weather service predicts warmer-than-average spring for Texas
The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center on Thursday released its three-month climate outlook for the spring. The weather service’s outlook shows a 50 percent chance for above-average temperatures for the entire state of Texas for the months of April, May and June. Based on the weather service’s outlook, there is an enhanced chance for above-average rainfall for the western areas of the Gulf Coast, including along the southeastern parts of Texas.
