U.S. District Court denies UT professors’ request to block campus carry law enforcement

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas denied three University of Texas professors’ request to block the enforcement of Texas’ new campus carry law on Monday. The law—which states a licensed holder may carry a concealed handgun on university campuses—took effect Aug. 1.
