TXMOST hosts Asteroid Day science activities and presentations July 1
The Texas Museum of Science & Technology is hosting a day of hands-on science and presentations July 1 in recognition of Asteroid Day. The second annual Asteroid Day is June 30, the anniversary of the 1908 Tunguska event in Siberia, which was the largest impact in recent history, according to TXMOST. The international campaign is meant to raise awareness about the dangers of asteroids and the efforts to prevent impacts.
