Travis County seeks input, questions on proposed courts bond

Published on September 1, 2015 under CommunityImpact

Residents of Travis County can ask questions at upcoming events about the Nov. 3 bond election for a proposed new civil and family courts complex. During county announcements at the Travis County Commissioners Court meeting Sept. 1, project manager Belinda Powell said events will intend to inform the public about the plans for the complex. On Aug. 18, the Travis County Commissioners Court called for an order to place the $287.3 million bond election on the Nov. 3 ballot. If voters approve it, the funds will go toward a new civil and family courts complex in downtown Austin.
