The Rotten Bunch
Since opening their wine bar and restaurant in November, co-owners Arik Williams and Alan Thomas have added new offerings to the menu. On Jan. 19, The Rotten Bunch hosted its first wine- and food-pairing four-course dinner, which featured dishes created solely for the red-themed event—meaning all dishes and wines served entailed a red theme. Dishes included coriander-cured salmon served with parsnip puree, and a braised beef shank served with white cheddar grits and a blackberry mustard. Williams said he hopes to continue the food and wine pairings throughout 2016.
