SLIDESHOW: Community Impact Newspaper celebrates printing press grand opening today

Approximately 400 people were in attendance at Community Impact Newspaper today to celebrate the official grand opening of the Community Impact Printing facility in Pflugerville. Open since September 2016, the press prints all 22 newspapers for the Austin, Dallas and Houston metros. Community Impact Newspaper Founder and CEO John Garrett expressed thanks to his staff, the city of Pflugerville, the Pflugerville Community Development Corp. and many other partners for their participation in making the printing press a reality. “I’m so thankful to all of y’all for coming out,” Garrett said. “We have an amazing process, but the people really make this thing go.”
