Santa Catarina Restaurant opens in Cedar Park

Jesus Hernandez and Francisco Cortez opened the second area location of Santa Catarina Restaurant at 500 Cypress Creek Road, Ste. 170, Cedar Park, on June 20. The Lakeway-based authentic Mexican restaurant offers lunch, brunch and dinner items, including enchiladas, tostadas, tacos, sopes, ceviche and fajitas. House specials include Camarones Poblanos—jumbo Gulf shrimp sautéed in a poblano sauce and served with rice, nopalitos, queso fresco and avocado—as well as the Pechuga Con Chorizo, which is a grilled chicken breast stuffed with venison chorizo and vegetables covered in salsa chipotle and served with black beans, rice and guacamole.
