Round Rock, Pflugerville among 25 fastest-growing U.S. cities in 2016

Round Rock and Pflugerville continued to grow in 2016 at rates that ranked among the fastest-growing cities nationally. The U.S. Census released population estimates today that show Round Rock and Pflugerville ranked 18th and 23nd, respectively, in growth. Round Rock’s population increased in mid-2016 to 120,892 people, a 4.2 percent increase from the year before. Pflugerville is estimated to have 59,245 people, a 3.8 percent increase from mid-2015. Hutto did not qualify for the list reserved only for incorporated cities with populations that exceed 50,000.
