Rock’N Lights, Reindeer Run and Christmas Towne return to Round Rock

The City of Round Rock is proud to present the return of the Rock’N Lights Holiday Light Tour and the new bigger Christmas Towne located at the Old Settlers Association & the Dell Diamond from November 30 – December 26. Rock’N Lights is a drive-through light show featuring three million lights along a mile and a halfRock'N Lights path through Old Settlers Park and is the must see event of the holiday season! The tour begins off of Old Settlers Boulevard on the north side of Old Settlers Park and exits on to U.S. 79. The tour features state-of-the-art, animated light displays with multiple themes.

The new, bigger Christmas Towne out of car experience is located at the exit to Rock’N Lights Holiday Light Tour at the Old Settlers Association and Dell Diamond parking lot.  Christmas Towne will feature a full-scale carnival featuring rides for all ages. It will also feature a light tunnel, live entertainment, holiday food and more. Christmas Towne offers free admission and is open to the public December 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24. Christmas Towne will feature the exciting Thomas Carnival, Inc. featuring full-scale carnival rides for all ages. The carnival will be open each night of Christmas Towne from 5 to 10 p.m. and on December 25, 26, 27, contingent upon the weather.

The event kicks off with the annual Round Rock Rotary Reindeer Run 5k and Fun Run on Sunday, November 29 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The run begins at the Dell2015 Reindeer Run T-Shirt Design Diamond parking lot and proceeds through the Rock’N Lights Holiday Light Tour. This will be the only opportunity to run/walk through this amazing event before it officially opens for regular operating evenings on Monday, November 30th. For more information about the Round Rock Rotary Reindeer Run, residents may visit www.5R5K.org. Proceeds benefit Round Rock’s Play for All Abilities Park and is presented by the Rotary Club of Round Rock Sunrise.

Rock’N Lights admission is $15 for family vehicles, $50 for limos, $45 for shuttle buses (9-30 people) and $75 for commercial buses (31+ people). Hours are Nov. 30 – Dec. 16: Sunday through Thursday 6 to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 17-24: 6 to 10 p.m. & Dec. 25-26: 6 to 9 p.m.
