Police identify victims from fatality crash on A.W. Grimes

The victims who were involved in the crash on Saturday, Oct. 29, have been identified as 43-year-old Tyrone Price of Austin and 12-year-old Cheyenne Price of Round Rock.

Round Rock police and fire personnel responded to a crash at the intersection of 1701 S. A.W. Grimes Blvd. and Gattis School Road at 3:48 p.m. A preliminary investigation reveals a silver van and a red Ford Mustang collided in the intersection and struck two pedestrians. Tyrone Price and his daughter Cheyenne Price were crossing Gattis School Road when the collision occurred resulting in their death on scene. As a result of the crash four people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and one person was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Round Rock Police Department Traffic Unit continues to investigate this incident and the circumstances surrounding it. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
