Pflugerville ISD names principals for Northwest and Windermere elementary schools

The Pflugerville ISD board of trustees named Nathan Steenport and Kate Shaum as the new principals for Northwest Elementary School and Windermere Elementary School, respectively, according to a release issued by the district. The release states Steenport has served as the assistant principal at Pflugerville Elementary School since 2012. Prior to that, he was an elementary teacher at River Oaks Elementary School from 2005-12. Shaum has served as the principal at Galindo Elementary in Austin ISD since 2013, according to the release.
