Pflugerville ISD names Gary Patterson as interim superintendent

The Pflugerville ISD board of trustees selected Gary Patterson as interim superintendent at its scheduled board meeting Thursday night. Patterson’s appointment follows an announcement from Alex Torrez earlier this month that he would be stepping down and a subsequent special meeting held Monday by the PfISD board of trustees at which the board placed Torrez on paid administrative leave.
