Pflugerville ISD approves supplemental insurance for students districtwide

Pflugerville ISD board of trustees voted June 23 to provide supplemental insurance for all its students, expanding a program the district has offered for student athletes previously. Pflugerville ISD Chief Financial Officer Ken Adix said the supplemental insurance the district has provided student athletes in University Interscholastic League-sanctioned events helps a student if that student were injured playing sports and his or her family did not have insurance or their insurance would not cover the costs.
