Memorial for slain UT student takes place tonight

A memorial service will be held tonight at 7 p.m. for Harrison Brown, the victim in Monday’s stabbing at The University of Texas at Austin. In a message to the UT community Wednesday morning, President Gregory Fenves encouraged people to attend and “show your support.” Brown, a first-year student at UT, was fatally stabbed Monday afternoon. Three other students were also injured in the stabbing. One person, 21-year-old Kendrex J. White, was arrested in connection with the stabbing.
