Luigi’s restaurant in Leander closing at end of August

After five years in business Luigi’s Italian Restaurant in Leander is planning to close at the end of August. Owner Genc Krasniqi said he was unable to negotiate lease terms with the landlord and will close the restaurant’s doors Aug. 30. “We love and appreciate the support [from our customers] over the years,” Krasniqi said. “We regret that we are failing them in a way because we have become a legacy. We are very apologetic for the inconvenience [this creates].”
