Leander raises prices for some parks and recreation facilities

Leander City Council raised fees for some parks and recreation facilities, including the Benbrook Ranch Park baseball fields and the Crystal Falls Golf Club, during a meeting Thursday night. The baseball fields at Benbrook Ranch Park were completed in February, said Finance Director Robert Powers. The fields are of a higher quality than those at Robin Bledsoe Park, so the facility’s maintenance costs are higher, he told the council. Council approved the following increases, effective Nov. 1:
