Leander ISD outscores state numbers on tests
Leander ISD students scored higher on the state assessments compared to the state totals, according to results released by the Texas Education Agency earlier this month. “We are blessed in Leander ISD to have such talented students, teachers and staff,” said Superintendent of Schools Dan Troxell. The state education agency released statewide State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, STAAR, scores for grades 3-8 in reading, math, writing, and social studies and End of Course exams for Algebra 1, Biology, English 1 and 2, and U.S. History.
