Leander ISD names new chief academic officer

Leander ISD on Friday announced the appointment of Matthew Bentz as the chief academic officer for the district. Bentz was appointed by Superintendent Dan Troxell and will oversee the teaching and learning department. He was appointed April 7, according to the district. “I am pleased to welcome Dr. Bentz to LISD,” Troxell said. “Throughout his career, Dr. Bentz has proven to be a leader focused on helping improve learning.”
