Hutto 4A board limits duties of Economic Development Corporation President/CEO Tim Chase

Three hours into its first meeting Monday night, the newly appointed Hutto Economic Development Corporation Type A board of directors limited the duties of President/CEO Tim Chase. Chase, who was hired in August 2015, will not be able to engage in any activities on behalf of the Economic Development Corporation after a 7-0 vote of the board. The board, appointed Thursday by City Council, includes chair Bill Gravell Jr., Bryon Borchers, Roger Harris, Jason Wirth, Russell Metcalf, Nelson Nagle and Daniel Thornton. The former board members were all removed at last week’s council meeting.
