High school student to run for Round Rock mayor

A Cedar Ridge High School senior has filed to run for Round Rock mayor. On Monday, Josh Courture, 18, a lifelong resident of Round Rock, returned the necessary paperwork for the May 6 election. He will face current Mayor Pro Tem Craig Morgan, who announced he was running for the mayor’s position when longtime Mayor Alan McGraw said he would not see re-election.
