H-E-B opens in Hutto on Wednesday
Texas-based grocer H-E-B will open its newest store in Hutto on Wednesday. Public ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the city’s first full grocery store are at 8 a.m. Construction began in March on the 121,000-square-foot building at the northwest corner of Gattis School Road and SH 130. After delivery of the store’s hippo statue, a common fixture among several city businesses and institutions, work continues inside to prepare for next week’s opening. According to the city, other retailers coming to spaces surrounding H-E-B will be announced soon.
