Funding District 6 transportation projects tops Northwest Austin meeting

Newly elected Austin City Council Member Jimmy Flannigan has hit the ground running moving forward transportation projects in District 6 funded through the $720 million mobility bond. Flannigan said he met with the Austin Transportation Department last week about the public engagement process. “We’ll have shovels in the dirt surely in the next four years if not the next two years,” he said Monday evening at the monthly meeting of the Northwest Austin Coalition that he helped form.
