Early voting begins for City Council election

Early voting is under way for the May 5 City Council election. The early voting period ends May 1.

The election is for Place 3 and Place 5. All seats on the City Council are at-large, meaning they represent all areas of the City.

Candidates for Place 3 are Matt Baker and Cam Scott. Current Place 3 Councilmember Frank Leffingwell is not seeking re-election.

Candidates for Place 5 are Ellie Andrew and incumbent Writ Baese.

Early voting polls are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m Monday, April 23, through Saturday, April 28; and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, April 30, and Tuesday, May 1.

  • Wednesday, April 25 — Hutto ISD Administration Building, 200 College St., Hutto
  • Thursday, April 26 — Florence City Hall, 106 S. Patterson Ave., Florence
  • Friday, April 27 — Williamson County Annex, 3407 RR 1869, Liberty Hill
  • Saturday, April 28 — Granger ISD School Gymnasium, 300 N. Colorado, Granger
