Construction planned along MetroRail line in June

Starting in early June, Capital Metro will make upgrades to the MetroRail Red Line on the railroad bridge between Lakeline and Leander Stations to allow for long-term speed, safety and reliability improvements along the line. The construction is expected to last June 5-30 and will impact the last morning departure from Leander to the station in downtown Austin and the first afternoon train from downtown to Leander, according to a joint press release by Capital Metro, Williamson County and the city of Cedar Park sent Monday.
