City selected as one of the healthiest employers in Central Texas for second straight year
The City of Round Rock has been selected as one of the Healthiest Employers in Central Texas by the Austin Business Journal.
For the second year in a row, Round Rock was the highest rated city municipality. Twenty firms were nominated for the award in the Large Companies Division.
Applicants were chosen based on how they scored on the national Healthiest Employer Index (HEI). The HEI is a 1‐100 scale that scores and ranks participating organizations.
The HEI measures wellness programming across six categories:
- Culture and Leadership Commitment
- Foundational Components
- Strategic Planning
- Communications and Marketing
- Programming and Interventions
- Reporting and Analysis
