City of Austin hits the ground running after passage of $720M mobility bond

In a memo sent to staff Wednesday, the city’s assistant city manager outlined the next steps to implementing the $720 million bond program voters approved Tuesday. “With the goal of completing the 2016 Mobility Bond Program in the time frame desired by council and to meet voter expectations, city staff is immediately beginning implementation planning for the 2016 Mobility Bond Program as well as performing startup activities in support of accelerated delivery,” Assistant City Manager Robert Goode wrote.
