Chariot to launch late-night shuttle service in downtown Austin tomorrow, Jan. 27
A different kind of ride-hailing service will be available to downtown revelers starting tomorrow—for a limited time. Chariot, an app-based shuttle van service, will introduce its first late-night route serving riders going to and from bars and restaurants during the weekends. Beginning Jan. 27, the route will run fromRainey Street to the West Sixth Street entertainment district for a month. Each chariot van holds 14 passengers, and rides will cost $3.50 per person for the late-night route.
