Capital Metro expands parking spaces at Lakeline Station

Austin area riders who utilize the city’s transportation services now have additional parking space at the Lakeline Station Park & Ride. Capital Metro, Austin’s transit agency, recently completed construction to provide 460 more parking spaces to the station located at Lakeline Boulevard and Lyndhurst Drive near Lakeline Mall. The station provides connection to the MetroRail passenger rail line and Capital Metro buses. Three hundred of the new spaces are now open, and Mariette Hummel, Capital Metro communications specialist, said the remaining spaces should open next week. The addition brings the total number of parking spaces in the Lakeline station to 945.
