Austin ranked 6 in study of best big cities to live in

The city of Austin was ranked the country’s sixth-best big city to live in, according to a study released today by WalletHub, a personal finance website. Using data from 17 research firms—including the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the FBI and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the WalletHub study evaluated 50 factors to rank the 62 largest cities in the U.S. Each city was ranked in affordability, economy, education and health, safety and quality of life, WalletHub spokesperson Diana Popa said in a press release.
