This weekend, Austin residents can support the local music scene as musicians band together to provide donations and relief to victims of Hurricane Harvey. Throughout Austin, local businesses and restaurants have announced special deals benefiting Hurricane Harvey disaster relief funding. But shopping and eating locally is not the only way for residents to get involved—they can also attend live music events. Austin-area musicians made it clear throughout Monday and Tuesday they are eager to help when over 315 musicians applied to perform at local shelters.
