A mosquito sample collected last week from the far east side of Brushy Creek Sports Park, located in Cedar Park near the intersection of Brushy Creek Road and Parmer Lane, tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to the Williamson County and Cities Health District. The city of Cedar Park is following WCCHD best practices by enhancing monitoring and testing in the city as well as increasing public outreach and education, according to a news release issued today.
