12 trails and playscapes to try out in Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto this summer

Round Rock alone has more than 23 miles of trails to its name. Explore the surrounding areas’ trails and playscapes and get outside in the process. Hiking trails 1. Freeman Park. 301 Forest Ridge Blvd., Round Rock. The park is the trailhead for the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, which is more than 10 miles long. The park also includes a playscape and horseshoe pits. 2. Fritz Park. 400 Park St., Hutto. The park includes a playscape, basketball and sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and a trail.
